Introducing W.I. Punk
Hat - Charity shop
Necklace and Dress - High On Airfreshner Tamera
60s M&S Cardigan - Charity shop
Tights - H&M
Shoes - Ebay
It's all about mixing fussy floral dresses and hats with acid accessories and looking ready to make jam and sponge cakes at a moments notice... or something, I dunno I just made it up
There should be a hint of Mapp and Lucia
Close up of the amazing Frida necklace from Tamera
Add an overtone of Noel Coward's Something To Do With Spring, where today's post title comes from
I also got the following in my parcel of love from Tamera
This beautiful Spring green lady card with some rather amusing old adverts on the back and some fairy tarot cards.
And her half of our art collaboration, but I can't show you that yet!
I also finally got a book on Grayson Perry I'd been waiting for since November and pair of bloomers from Thailand.... I'm now on an Ebay ban!
Go Grayson, Queen Of W.I. Drag Punk

Oh, is that the book of his tapestries related to the series he did? I loved that series. He was just so likeable, wasn't he?
You are rocking that floral dress and I love all your sugared almond colours.
I love the idea of the WI, it always reminds me of Housewife, 49 which I love. xxxx
p.s. looking forward to your art collaboration project unveiling.
Clare, I love this outfit! So pretty and lady-like! The colours say Easter Parade and spring to me! Love! xoxo
I said love quite a lot there, didn't I? Gosh, I'm gushing!! :) xxx
You are a new edition to my fashion icons list! I love your cardigan the most :D XOXO
I'm off charity fuckin' charity shopping tomorrow dear. Gotta get me this look, that first picture is you looking at your most gorgeous, I reckon.
When does Tamera sleep? Genius collaboration? Can't wait to see it.
Very pleased to see you on form, it's inspiring.
You look fucking great! Tamera is fab. And Grayson is my hero.
How fab was Map and Lucia?
Looking forward to your collab.
xxxxx
clare you totally rock this candy colors!!! and what a gorgeous hat!!! you are a star!!!
You look spectacular, you'd give those old dears at the WI a run for their money with your acid dyed bras and shrines.
Tamera's done you proud with that parcel, the card is amazing.
Damn - I forgot all about that Grayson Perry docu on Channel 4 but I did see his vase featuring Alan Measles in Walsall, what a legend he is. xxx
Aaagh, it's on the tip of my tongue what/who this look reminds me off but I can't quite reach it. You look lovely, like a sugared almond selection. I in fact DID make sponge cake today, but I was dressed as a biker - I've been loving Sons of Anarchy and it's obviously got into my subconscious.
xx
Amazing color combination! And I love seeing where you take your inspiration, too...

Will I really be damned if I publish, ah fuckity! You pastel princess, you remind me of everything sweet in this outfit and I love that you got a Frida necklace. Tamera is a such a talented woman, can't wait to see the calab. Never heard of Grayson Perry but the book looks like something I would love to have in my collection. Ebay can be dangerous especially if you are like me and occasionally drink a bit too much and shop till you drop!
XXOO Parcel is packed up and ready to go :)
Ha, chuckling at Krista - who hasn't drunk-Ebayed and lived to regret it?!
Ooh, you look a bit scary in that second pic, like you are about to chastise me for the poor consistency of my jam and my inadequate sponge cake... I tried, Miss Simmonds, Leader of the WI Punk Pack, I really tried!
You do suit those delicate pastel shades, the lilac cardigan and turquoise tights set the floral frock off beautifully. Grayson would surely approve! And yay, we are Frida Twins today! Doesn't Tamera send great gifts? I bloody love that woman! Can't wait to see what the two of you come up with for your art collaboration. xxxxx
Oooooooooooh, that hat is fab!!!! You look so serious with it too!!! Love the juxtaposition!
Buzzing in on my air freshner high...
You look wonderful!! I knew that dress was made for you when I saw it!!! You kinda punked it up a bit so it wasn't too twee!!
This Grayson guy looks interesting--I'm going to have to check him out!!!

Tee hee jam and sponge, just the most perfect outfit for it. Love the rose frame around the prettiness of you in floral. OH I thought of you today, I love bloomers as much as you do and today I double bloomered, yip living on the edge with that one. Anyhoo.......sending a squirrel hug love V

Oh you're a lady in lavendar... and pastel pink and baby blue. This outfit looks good enough to eat. I LOVE it! The Frida pendant is fab and gives it a nice edge. Such a perfect outfit to listen to Noel in! You've made me come over all spring like. Gotta dig out my baby blue tights again. Grayson cuts a dapper figure I must admit. I like it when he's on Have I Got News For You :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Great outfit and I love the pendant and card.
Liz @ Shortbread & Ginger
The hat is lovely, so lucky to shop in the land of W.I. power,it's definitely something I'll immediately buy! I love this pastel punk invasion and Grayson is our Queen for sure!!
The book is wonderful and so Tamera's creations, can't wait to see your art collaboration!
You look amazing in the floral dress and I can smell spring on this gray, foggy day!!!
Love xxxxx
OMG I made scones for the first time in four years yesterday. They came out delicious and fluffy, served hot with butter and strawberry jam. I have no idea where the inspiration came from but now I'm convinced we are living twin lives. You get a FANTARSTIC parcel from Tamera which reminds you of spring and baking, which somehow, tele-pathetically entered my otherwise scrambled brain! Gawd the necklace is flippin' gorge!!!!!! Don't you just love the metalwork around the edge and the wee message on the back? Oh you do inspire me to pop a frock on my darling friend ... xoxoxooxoxooxox
Love that look! Crazy great!!
Woah, Clare, loving the pastel get-up today. You've just reminded me that I still haven't got Mapp and Lucia dvds. Must recitfy tout de suite! The Grayson Perry book looks tres interesting (not sure why I've broken into Francais) and an art collab - how exciting! xx
On seeing Sacremento's post I think I was thinking a little of Andie from Pretty in Pink!
Ok these are my most favorite colors together ever Clare! You make me want to raid my own closet and try to put an outfit together like this! Darn - I really need a pair of baby blue shoes like that. And you do manage to find the most fabulous hats I swear!
I need to be on an Ebay ban. As much as I complain about the darn site, I just can't stop bidding on it. I swear it's a disease :-)
Just learned a new useful word: "Lilt". Of course a sort of lilt is in the air when you look like that. I absolutely love your look and the color combination.
I normally don't like pastel on pastel but here I LOVE. It's not too precious but sweet with a brick in her handbag. You rock.
But you probably already knew that.
I love Grayson m(ostly because he has a sidecar for his Ted) I must add that book to my list.
I love your pastel floral dress!!!! So pretty! Video is blocked for some reason when I tried to check it out :(
Can't wait to see the art project!
becky :)
Your outfit makes me want to drink tea in the gaaaarden
Now Clare you do look rather hoity-toity in this outfit. *heheh*
I could use a proper tea and crumpet and I am sure you are just the lady to come too. =p
NANTASTIC! You rock that look.
It's a splendid photo of Grayson, too.
WOW i think this is my favourite outfit on you ever you look gorgeous this is such a wonderful look and shape on you STUNNING you are and those colours are all lush :-) dee xxx
You are cracking me up calling your two little pups Whores! I can still see their little snowy frozen faces on your blog a few posts back.
Is one of them a Norfolk Terrier?
I think Krista said she's not sure what Peetee is. I think he's some kind of chihuahua and rat terrier mix or something like that.
W.I. Punk is fab! Fabulous powdery pastel colours that look as if they would taste like a mouthful of love hearts or parma violets.
I love Grayson Perry, he would be fun to invite around for afternoon tea with homemade jam and sponge cakes :)
...xXx
Dearest Clare,
Oh, I love pink and flower♡♡♡ I must admit that some of the part of you have written (maker's name etc) is beyond me; but I love to see your pictures and what you like.
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
I love pastel colours at the moment too.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
I AM W.I. PUNK too and I didn't even know it!!!! (Because I am a slackarsed MOLE) FECK ME but you are on FIRE lately, my darling pastel delight!!!

I am literally obsessed with that cardigan; the color is just all of the epic win. I love it. You look so ferociously fierce. Such a babe. Fussy florals and hats forever. XO
Oh wow, I love the colours of your outfit and your hat so amazing. I would definitely turn my head if I saw you on the street, you pretty lady! xxx
I met Grayson Perry once! He was wearing a blue satin romper suit with a sparkly codpiece. It was glorious. Bloody love him and his work.
Love all the colours - on a bit of a sugary pastel kick myself at the moment. You look amazing
