Au Reservoir!

It's not a malapropism, it's a reference to one of my favourite TV and Book series

I'd like to say thank you again for all your supportive comments on my last post, it really does mean a lot, bloggers are the best!

I do feel better today, yesterday I felt like I was walking through treacle! It's a horrible feeling.

I feel a bit better about my art, today too.

I will hopefully be reading bits and bobs of all your blogs - I need my fix - however my phone doesn't let me scroll down through posts so I might miss some!!

We're actually sailing from Hayling Island - proper sailing, so hoping I don't feel sick!

I'm hoping it'll all be lovely and something quite like one of my all time favourite films - my mum taped it for my sister and I when we were little and despite being French and in black and white, we loved it

Thank you all once again, it really means so much

Here's me on holiday in Cornwall in 1988ish

Plus the Isle Of Wight will have A LOT of charity shops....

 Loads of Love

Yay!! So glad you're feeling a bit better today. That film looks great, when you come back from IOW please come to my new house so we can watch old movies together. Or Laurel and Hardy with my housemates. And send me a postcard!!!!! I'll miss you.

Love youuuuuuuuuuuuu xxx

You've hardly changed a bit! Glad you're feeling better - I get the same about my writing/blog, sometimes there's just too much out there and I wonder why I bother, other times it's all great!

Aw, I missed yesterday's blog (I often read them on my phone too, and it's not ideal) but I hope you are feeling better. We went to Hayling Island camping a couple of years back, it was really nice, but I've never been to the IOW. I look forward to reading all about it when you get back. Have fun. xx

I think I was drunk most of 1988.

My GOD you look like your mum (presuming the woman is red and white is, infact, your mother).

OMG, I'd completely forgotten how much I loved the Lucia series of books what with Georgie and his bibelots and the Major (was it?) and his cry of Qui Hai (which my friend and I adopted and say even today in moments of great excitement) and Quaint Irene. Oh I must read them all again and get the dvds.

Sorry to be an idiot, but I'm not sure which is you in the photo. The woman in the red and white is the spit of you.

Nooooooo, don't give up on the art. You have such a talent. You need a break and a week in the IoW sounds brilliant fun. I camp all the time and it doesn't have to be rubbish. Dress warmly at night and if you can have a camp fire than have it. Loads of booze is de rigour. Yes, I'd heard chazzing in the IoW is good.

Au reservoir Clare. Enjoy. xx

Have fun sailing! I went sailing waaaaay back when I was 14 with my girlfriend, who had her sailor's badge from camp. It was so fun.

Have a great time away hon. Sea air is a blast (so I've heard- I live about as far away from any sea as you can be in the Midlands!!!)
The IOW should have some fab chazza/vintage shops- knock yourself out; you deserve it! x

You know that I love your art, and that's not just because you've immortalised Melanie, Helga and I! Hope you're having an absolutely fabulous time on the Isle of Wight whatever the weather gods chuck at you.
Love that picture of you & the Camper Van and don't worry about keeping up with blogging, there's charity shops to explore, far more important! xxxxxxx

Have an amazing time on the Isle of Wight. Goodness, I've always been so intrigued by it - I want to go. Camping is not my thing either, but it's all about the experience right? Wishing you sunshine to make it a sweet holiday. Exploring all the charity shops sounds like a perfect way to spend your day and be sure to take plenty of pics!

We had a Beach Fail day on my holiday last week...(which I posted about) but over all we made the best of things. Wet and cold I can't abide so hopefully things will clear up and not spoil every day. This is my first time reading your blog so must scroll to see your art. Have fun!
